UX/UI
MANAGEMENT INVENTORY APP FOR CAR DEALERS (MIA)

Designed specifically for car dealerships to help manage their vehicle inventory. It allows dealerships to track and manage their stock of cars, trucks, and other vehicles in real-time. The app can be used to input, edit, and store vehicle information such as make, model, year, colour, mileage, and price, as well as any other relevant information.

The app provides a centralized database of all vehicles in stock, making it easy for dealerships to manage and organize their inventory. It also features search and filter functions, allowing dealerships to quickly locate specific vehicles and view their detailed information.

In addition, the app can also generate detailed reports on vehicle inventory levels, sales, and other important metrics, providing dealerships with valuable insights into their business operations.

The main difference between this and a regular desktop app is that it would be accessed via mobile devices like cell phones or tablets, making it faster and easier to share.

GOAL

PROBLEM

Car dealership employees are often busy and need to quickly and easily access inventory information, not only during work hours but also from different locations and after hours.

The goal of the MIA app is to provide users with a fast and simple way to access inventory information and share it according to their specific needs. By optimizing their time, users can improve their productivity and efficiency, even when they're away from their workplace. With the MIA app, car dealership employees can easily access inventory information from anywhere, at any time, and streamline their workflow for a more seamless experience.

PAPER WIREFRAMES

Taking the time to draft iterations of each screen of the app on paper ensured that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points. For the home screen, I prioritized quick and easy access to search for vehicles to help users save time.

DIGITAL WIREFRAMES

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base designs on feedback and findings from the user research

Easy login and navigation was a key user need to address in the designs in addition to equipping the app to export fast and easily according to the user’s needs
