PILL TIME - UX/UI

Pill Time is a mobile app designed to help individuals and families keep track of their daily medication schedules. The app sends notifications to users to remind them to take their medication at a specified time, helping them stay on top of their medication regimen and improve adherence to prescription schedules.

Prototypes:

DESKTOP VERSION

In addition, Pill Time also has a desktop version that focuses on the hospital industry, serving nurses, doctors, and caregivers who need to track a large number of patient medications. The user interface is simple and intuitive, allowing for easy navigation and quick input of medication information.

The primary goal of Pill Time is to improve the health outcomes of its users by promoting medication adherence. By helping users remember to take their medication on time, Pill Time reduces the risk of missed doses, which can result in ineffective treatment or the development of more severe health conditions.

Ultimately, Pill Time aims to make medication management easier and more accessible for everyone, whether they are managing their own medications or responsible for the care of others.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Having the right medicine, dose and time is an essential task not only for the one who takes it but also for the parent or caregiver in charge of a sick one.

Inspired by cases where a parent is in charge of reminding the dose, time and follow-up after finishing the treatment of their children, elders and themselves.

RESEARCH GOALS

We wanted to figure out what specific difficulties users encounter when trying to complete ore tasks of the PillTime App, such as programming a new alarm, changing between profiles and understanding the app itself.

WIREFRAMES

The wireframes for the "Pill Time" app are detailed sketches or blueprints of the app's user interface. These wireframes will help visualize the layout and functionality of the app before it is developed.

They will also provide a clear understanding of the user's journey and how the app will work, making it easier to identify any potential issues or improvements.

HI - FIDELITY PROTOTYPE

The prototype for the "Pill Time" app is a preliminary version of the app that allows users to interact with its features and functions. It is an early representation of the app that demonstrates its basic functionality and design.

The prototype will help to test and refine the app's functionality, usability, and user experience before it is released to the public. It will also allow you to gather feedback from early users and make any necessary adjustments before the final release.

WHAT I LEARNED

Designing the user experience for the Pill Time app was a valuable learning experience.

Through the process, I gained insights into designing for a specific target audience and learned the importance of incorporating features such as notifications and reminders to improve medication adherence.

The app's user interface was designed to be intuitive and easy to use, ensuring that users can quickly access the information they need. Overall, I gained valuable knowledge and skills in designing for social goods and creating an effective user experience.

SECOND STEP:
DESKTOP APP

As the second stage of this project, I was excited to create a desktop version of the Pill Time app. Inspired by a hospital application, the desktop version was designed to help healthcare professionals track their patients' medical history, treatment progress, and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.

With the larger screen size and more powerful hardware of a desktop computer, the app provides more detailed data visualization and analysis, making it easier for healthcare professionals to make informed decisions about their patients' care.
